Horrid the cat

Meet Horrid, the cat. This cat made it to Warrington just in time for xmas. This is what his Mum said when she saw the finished pic - "It's absolutely fantastic , thank you so much. Dylan will be so pleased with his gift from Santa .

It's truly the best thing I have ever bought . And we will all cherish it for ever . You are so talented to make something that we will never ever ever get fed up of or throw away / donate ! Couldn't be happier!"
And when he arrived "It's here and it's amazing !!!!! Thank you so much . I am so excited to see his reaction"

This is Luke Pelvis. He went off to Guildford for Christmas to meet his creator. Hoping to have a pic and reaction very soon!

Purple cat

This purple cat went to Cambridge for xmas. His designer was just 5 when she drew him, but is now fully grown up!

This is the reaction I had from Julie - her mother, when I sent over a pic of the finished cat - "Its perfect! I'm so excited, thank you so much.....I have just shown everyone in the office and they all love it too!". And when he arrived "The cat has arrived, it is fantastic! my daughter is going to be so surprised and happy, thank you so much, have a great Xmas, I will send you a picture with its new owner!".

I recently had a Facebook message from Nicola, Purple cat's creator "Hello, I am Julie's daughter and the designer of the cat drawing. I can't put into words how well you made this, every single detail is spot on, from the different lengths of the legs to the smiley face. Such a lovely present to receive, seeing something I drew when I was 5 to now seeing it recreated at 30. Brings back childhood memories and is a brilliant keepsake!
Thank you so much, what a fantastic unique gift. You've done an excellent job."

Christmas decoration workshop at Holly's Bambino Bazaar on 5th December

On 5th December, Cwtch Club held a Christmas decoration workshop at Holly's Christmas Bambino Bazaar in Plasnewydd Community Centre in Cardiff.

All kinds of fun was had with children making their own Christmas tree decorations using glue, glitter, sequins, pom poms and all kinds of shiny stuff!

Advent Angels

Meet Doug & Dave, they are 2 advent angels that faithfully deliver sweets to a young girl in Buckinghamshire between the 1st and 25th December every year, though sometimes Doug has been known to have crashed and therefore missed a day or two!

  

Whales from Wales!

I was asked to make 2 of these competition winning whales for an Arts Centre in Belfast - Cultur Lann. The 4 year old winner will have one and the Arts Centre will keep the other. Hopefully they'll get to meet up now and again as it looks like they've become friends!

Unicorns for a school in Scotland

I finally finished and sent 2 unicorns to a primary school in Scotland that has been made a Unity Rights Respecting School by Unicef - Greenhill primary schools.

This is what Kristin Weir - the teacher who I have been liaising with, said in her e-mail after receiving the unicorns; 

"Well, Unity went down a storm!!  The children were over the moon with the end product.  I have added a few pictures of each school with their mascots.

I would like to thank you once again.  The mascots have far exceeded my expectations by miles.  What a talent you have!"
